A Big Weekend

What a big weekend this has been!

Yesterday we took our annual trip to the Nivens Apple Farm/Pumpkin Patch. Ron and I have been trying to figure out how long we've been doing this yearly October trip and the best we can come up with is "a long time"! We had a blast seeing Bubba Cow, who, incidently, is the exact same size he was many years ago when we made our first trip. Unlike years past, the farm wasn't crowded this year. The boys each picked out their 2005 pumpkin and can't wait for their Dad to help them carve. I picked out my yearly candy apple and could barely wait to get home and eat it.

Later in the evening, we decided to drive over to Greenville for dinner. People are always telling us how great Stickey Fingers is so we decided to try it. We were very unimpressed with the food, but had a great time visiting the little shops downtown.

Friday night, Clay went to his first school dance! He took a sweet girl, Chrissie, to the dance, to dinner and then they joined her mom for the Boiling Springs football game. I'm having trouble believing that my "baby" is now going to dances and dinner with girls...even though they say they are only friends.
