Afternoon In Charleston

Monday afternoon was beautiful and Ron convinced me to try out riding a bike. I did pretty well and only nearly got killed one time (a not so kind driver didn't like having bikes on the road and go too close to me, blew his horn, which scared me and sent me veering towards him....of course, it was all my fault in his eyes!) funny enough, right in front of the Phi Mu house!

We road from our hotel over to the campus to see the new bell tower donated in honor of Pi Kappa Phi's 100th anniversary last summer. We took a stroll while there and then biked some more.

It was a fabulous day to be out on a bike and that was such a great way to see the city. We went up and down side streets and saw houses that we would have otherwise never seen. Ron says I did pretty good for my first riding experience outside of our neighborhood.
