After some power shopping (more like "people watching"....ever noticed the panicky, stricken look that people have in stores on Christmas Eve?), we headed over to my parents to exchange gifts.
For Ron:
New khakis, new plaid Polo shirt, a sound card
For Melanie:
New Tommy jeans, a lavendar turtleneck sweater, black boots, the book Sister Freaks, and a framed map of Narnia
For Clay:
Aeropostale jeans and sweatshirt, Call of Duty "Big Red" video game, a Boy Scout baseball cap and a DC Talk book
For Ben:
A build your own Light Saber kit with Darth Vadar Mask and cape, the Millenium Falcon Lego set and a Sponge Bob video game.
For Poppie:
A purple Polo shirt (which I'm sure he will wear shortly!), a "#1 Grandpa" tape measure (from Ben) and some stay-at-home socks (from Clay)
For Nannie:
A new Anne Klein watch, hoop earrings, a magnetic frame (from Ben) and stay-at-home socks to match Poppie's (from Clay)
