Ben and his cub scout friends get settled onto the float.

This morning, Ron and the boys were in the Boiling Springs Christmas parade with the scouts. They had a blast! After I dropped them off, I went down in front of First Baptist to find a place on the sidewalk. My parents joined me a few minutes later and we FROZE! Next year, I'll take my blanket, thermal socks and a hat.....of course, if I do that, it will end up being 80 degrees!

Because of the camera issues, it wouldn't take the picture until Ron and the first boys (carrying the parade banner) had already passed.
Unfortunately, my camera flaked out on me and I wasn't able to get too many pictures (I couldn't get any of the cub scout float going by with Ben waving and yelling "Merry Christmas" to anyone who'd listen!) I think that it is just the result of cheap batteries...at least I hope that is all that's wrong with it. Ron always says "you get what you pay for". Evidently, the $1 Ingles AA batteries aren't worth more than 1 or 2 pictures.

Clay and some other scouts carried the parade flags.
