A Johnson Christmas Eve

For the first time this year, we stayed at home as a family on Christmas Eve! Ron and Clay fixed a wonderful "breakfast" for supper, we had a wrapping party, watched Christmas Vacation, baked Santa's cookies and considered building a gingerbread house.....Clay decided we should just eat it instead. It was a lot of fun and the boys enjoyed starting some new traditions of our own.

Clay puts together a crackers and cheese hors d'ourves, while Ron fries up some bacon on his griddle.

We even brought out our Christmas china to celebrate!

We started on the gingerbread house before the boys realized it was more work than they were interested in investing. They chose to eat the gingerbread and candy instead.
