Talent Show

On Thursday night the middle school held a March of Dimes fundraiser in the form of a talent show. I felt like we were at "Junior American Idol" with expanded categories! I was, however, amazed at the talent of some of these sixth graders. And, I learned that you CAN clog to "Hollaback Girl"....yeah, I was surprised too.

Clay performed with the Drama Club at the beginning of the program and then later he and his friend, Ritchie, did a comedy routine of the old "Who's on first?" They were terrific and very funny.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to see the last half of the show -- had to leave for a Phi Mu event -- but, Ron said it was equally as good.

Funny, Ron and I didn't sit together at the show. I enjoyed the fact that I got to sit with my old friend, Sandy! We used to work together and she has a daughter the same age as Clay (we've tried to arrange a future marriage for them!) Ron and Ben sat with Lewis, a fraternity brother of Ron's whose wife is the middle school nurse. Small world!
