If I ever doubted the truth in "when God closes a door He always opens another one", I am a firm believer now! Last week God closed the door on the youth ministry Ron and I had been working with over the summer. It was a group of kids that we love dearly and I was crushed. But, today, God opened a whole new door in an area that I least expected it. Since being an English major in college and even when I finished my teaching degree, my ultimate goal became to be a professor one day. Well, today, over the phone, I was hired to teach two sections of Transitional Reading as an adjunct instructor for Spartanburg Tech . This was not the plan that I had in mind for this fall, but God is so good and He always provides what we need according to His plans.
I am very excited about this new opportunity and I am looking forward to see where it leads!
