Zach's team, the Clover Blue Eagles, won their division championship on Friday night and will now advance to the play-offs for the state championship. Kim and Leonard invited some of his friends over on Saturday night for a lakefront bonfire and we drove up to congratulate him. In fourteen years, I have been to the lake in spring, summer and winter, but never in the fall. It is always beautiful, but the fall....oh my goodness, I think it was more beautiful than even the mountains. The pictures don't do it justice, but hopefully you can get a little view of the beauty.
My boys love the lake and I'm sure that many of their childhood memories will be of the times spent here....in every season.
Everyone helped to get ready for Zach's bonfire. Ben collected sticks and leaves for the fire. And, he chased Zach on the tractor as he collected logs.
