Looking forward.....to 2007

Our family has set a challenge to each develop 5 goals that we are going to work to achieve during 2007. I thought it would be beneficial to me, for accountability, to post my goals here. I will look forward to updating you on these goals, as well as other accomplishments this time next year!

I hope that your 2007 is WONDERFUL!

My goals for 2007:

1. Spend time each day in prayer and Bible study with a direct goal of reading the entire New Testament.

2. Complete at least 5 5K's throughout the year with a direct goal of RUNNING the Jingle Bell 5K next December.

3. Due to physical health concerns, change the eating habits that I have to lower blood pressure and cholesterol with a direct goal of losing 30 pounds.

4. Work on scrapbooking again....complete Maggie's album, catch up on my Christmas album and, most importantly, have Clay's scout album ready by his Eagle Ceremony.

5. Learn to swim!

6. The most important goal this year........put God first and then focus on my family. We only have five years until Clay goes off to college and nine until Ben leaves. I want to make these last years count. I want to show all three of my boys lots of love this year and serve them as a wife and mother.

Miss Melanie-
I didn't know you couldn't swim. You certainly are brave running the wave runner! We will have to work on the swimming thing at the lake. Kim is very good at this.

Also, Molly is adorable.

If we only do this, our lives would be richly blessed. Everything else would be fine if I could only get these two things down. I hope that 2007 bring you great joy, fun, and laughter! Happy New Year!
