Okay, we were pretty close, but Ron and I didn't finish dead last today in our first ever 5K!! I signed up a week or so ago to do the SPACE Jingle Bell Run, but in all honesty, haven't been training like I should. I convinced Ron to get up and go with me and he did. We walked most of it, but felt like we were a success since we started and completed it (in less than the hour that I had predicted!)
It was a beautiful course that wound through SPACE's Cottonwood Trail and the surrounding neighborhood. For a first try, not too bad! Now we know what we need to do to get ready for the next one. Which, by the way, is right around the corner in January!
