About a year ago I wrote an inspirational article/essay and on a whim sent it off to HomeLife magazine. Didn't think anything else about it.Anyone else believe God works in amazing ways?!?! I've been doing the Beth Moore Bible study "Believing God" and I have been practicing my faith in action. ("God, I do believe that anything is possible through your son, Christ." and "God, wherever you want my life to go, I'm a blank page, I will follow.", etc.) On Monday night I had a great discussion with my "Non-Fiction" writing class instructor about my writing, my faith and how last year really was God's way of saying He loves me and my family and wants the best, His will for us. Great conversation!
Yesterday, I checked my e-mail to find an e-mail from a "Nancy" at HomeLife. She wanted to let me know that they needed my mailing address so that they could send a contract to buy the rights to my article and publish it in the October 2007 issue!!!!! In God's own time, He has sent a publishing (paid publishing!) opportunity to me! Thank you, God, for this blessing!
