Friday afternoon was a little scary with some rough weather rolling through. Ben and I had just gotten home from school and taken the dogs out. I sat down to read blogs and.....whoooooosssshhhhh.......I hear rain pouring outside. I took my camera to try and get my Project 365 picture and got soaked, even under my porch. Within about 5 minutes the yard outside our apartment was flooded and water was flowing down the sidewalks. It was crazy!
Clay had stay at the junior high school for an extra hour because of tornado's. The school wouldn't put them on the bus to the wrestling practice. In addition, a tornado touched down in the parking lot of an elementary school about an hour or so from here and lifted up cars. Luckily, it was right before school was let out and no students were injured.
Within an hour or so, the storm had past and the sun was out.
