Clay had a wrestling tournament today and we talked to him about 7:30 as they were preparing to leave for the hour or so drive home. He called us again about 9:15 to let us know that they had stopped to eat and when the came back out, the bus wouldn't start. So, as Ron and I sit here watching MASH, he says, "This is getting old."
I respond, "Huh??"
Ron: The long days of wrestling tournaments is getting old, but what I mean is that "this-is-getting-old". Soon, we'll be worrying about him coming home from dates by curfew.
Me: Yikes! This is getting old!
As of right now, it is almost 11 and Clay is still not home. If you happen to be reading this late tonight, please add Clay, his coach and his teammates to your prayer list that they will be home safely, soon.
