Ben is fascinated with the Titanic. He reads every book he can find about it, and constantly builds it with Legos. For a couple of weeks he's been collecting things -- empty toilet paper rolls, my shoe box, Ron's diploma frame box --- to build a Titanic. Yesterday, Ben convinced Clay to help him at they build half of the Titanic from these "recycled" materials. Now they are collecting more materials to build the "stern". Ben built a submarine out of Lego's to "explore" the Titanic and added Lego men to "drown".
I didn't realize how creative my kids are!
