As I think I've already mentioned we jokingly refer to the park behind us as "Sasquatch" park instead of its real name --- Sesquicentennial. When we go out on the porch or when I take Maggie out, we always laugh and say, "Look for Sasquatch!". Forget it! He doesn't live here....but, if the SC mythical Lizard Man stepped out, it wouldn't surprise me in the least. I now live in the land o' lizards! They are everywhere!
And, I now am not a big fan of these slimy little guys. Lenny sort of ruined that when he hissed, yes hissed (!) at me last weekend! Since then, I've seen them crawling up the building, the banisters, the porches, the hallway downstairs...you name it, they're there. Tonight, Maggie and I stepped out on the porch to enjoy the evening when I notice a little string on the top of my table.
Me to Maggie: Wonder what that is? I reach for it and notice Maggie's BIG eyes. I get up out of my seat as I am reaching and look over the top of the table.....looking back at me..... a LIZARD! YUCK....YUCK....YUCK!! I almost touched the thing!
Clay promptly went outside and aggravated him by blowing at him til he got off the table and then chasing him around the porch. Clay did inform me that this is a different one from Lenny. This one is brown!
I can promise that if I find one inside the house, my next post will be from the hospital where I've been taken for my heart-attack!

I'm sure you don't find this funny, but the description of your reaction had me crackin' up! I hope, for everyones sake, that you never find one in the house. LOL
I am laughing right now and remembering your reaction to the bird that was in your bathroom vent. LOL
