Let me hear your heart beat.....

I went to the doctor on Friday morning for a physical and blood work because I haven't felt the greatest lately. They ran tests, did blood work, took x-rays of my lungs, and did an EKG. As a whole everything looked okay, but she sent me on to have a cardiology ultrasound today to check the possibility of a heart murmur. I've had ultrasounds when I was pregnant and when my gall bladder was giving me problems, but this was really cool (hopefully, it will turn out to be nothing) to see. Ron went with me and we got to see my heart moving on the screen and hear my heart beating. I asked Ron if he could tell it was beating for him!

Otherwise, the initial report from blood work showed only one problem: high cholesterol. So, I'll be working on that and re-testing in six months. As for today's ultrasound, we'll hear once the cardiologist reviews it and talks to my doctor.
