Maggie has found a new treat that she LOVES....the Boston Terrier Cream Pie from Three Dog Bakery! She's promised to be a good girl if we'll get more next week.

Maggie Gets a New Shirt

At Target tonight we picked up a new "Christmas" tee shirt for Maggie-dog. Funny enough, she seems to really like it!

She's not really naughty, at least not all the time......

But, she is a diva-dog...she likes to check out herself in the window.

Sneak Peak

Maggie didn't like her princess costume so well. Last night while we were at Target with my parents, I picked up a new one for her. She can get the head cover off, but not the body part...hahaha! I may have to glue the head cover on her! But, doesn't she look cute? My little baby-bee, Maggie!

Poor Boomer

On Monday night we brought home yet another "Boomer" for Maggie. We thought maybe she'd grown a little and this one would fair better than the others....who managed to be mauled after a few days. Alas, Maggie had a great time playing with Boomer..........
Then, less than thirty minutes later, we found the crime scene......it was a new record for Maggie!

Middle of the Night Bathtime

When my mind is racing and I can't sleep (which is basically every night right here at the beginning of school) I go out to the couch. For some reason I fall asleep almost instantly on the couch. I always wake up around 2 and go get in bed then. At some point, Maggie usually joins me.


Last night, after our cook out and meeting most of my students and parents, my mind was definitely ON and I headed to the couch. When I woke at 2 Maggie wasn't on the couch so I figured she was in bed with Ron or Clay. I stopped, in the dark, by the bathroom on the way to bed. Where I keep hearing this "slup....slup" noise. I start thinking someone is tiptoeing through the foyer and I'm trying to decide what I should do. Then, I realize that its coming from behind the shower curtain! I turn on the shower light and peek behind the curtain.....there sits Maggie looking up at me VERY sheepishly.....she had gotten in the tub and couldn't get herself back out! I would have given anything to have my camera at that moment!

PAW-TY

We celebrated Maggie's birthday tonight after supper. In keeping with tradition, she got a doggie cupcake cake. And, she LOVED it! She had already opened her gift earlier in the afternoon --- a bacon flavored bone to chew on.

One of my students wrapped this around some very beautiful note cards. I immediately deemed it a Maggie boa! She was slightly cooperative....I guess she's waiting for a special occasion.

Maggie's Treat

On Sunday night I had a little scratchy throat, so Ron and I ran to Ingle's to grab some ice cream for me and the boys. While there, we also decided to get Moose some "Frosty Paws" to try. She loved it! Guess we know what her favorite summer treat will be!

Merry Christmas From Maggie

Yesterday we took Maggie to the Humane Society for her annual Santa picture. Little Miss Uncooperative sat in the lobby with her ears perked and then we got to Santa's lap. She refused, despite our encouragement and the photographer's toys, to sit like a good Boston. Our Maggie is very ADD as we have recently realized and she couldn't take the people talking, the photographer, the cats meowing and the dogs barking all at the same time. Luckily, the picture still turned out cute.
