Happy Halloween!

Our Halloween didn't quite have the beginning we would have liked this year. Ben woke up and began throwing up and I have what appears to be an ear infection. So, we ended up staying home from work and school. By lunchtime, Ben felt much better and couldn't wait to put on his costume.....Batman. My mom picked Clay up from school after Drama Club and brought him home and Ben really wanted her to see him and Maggie dressed for trick-or-treating.

We were supposed to go to a Harvest Festival at church so Clay hadn't really planned to dress up this year. He decided at the last minute to be.....Ron! Seriously, he wore Ron's old Boy Scout uniform from the late '70s/early 80s and he was a "Vintage Boy Scout". He trick-or-treated with his friend Tyler (he's the one in the ostrich costume).

Even though I really would rather be on the couch resting, I took Ben around to a few houses. We were going to take Maggie, but as soon as we got out in our yard, she freaked out! Evidently Halloween is not her favorite holiday!

I think the boys had a really good time despite the craziness of the day and I'm hoping that I will feel much better by tomorrow morning.

Happy Halloween!
