Four Years, Four Rooms, Four Grades, Fourth AGAIN!

Little did I know yesterday while we were discussing literature and education at the pool, as soon as I got home my principal called. As it turns out, he needs to move someone to the fourth grade and wanted to discuss it with me. Next year will be my fifth year teaching and I have never been in the same room or the same grade! But, as we always say, "Everything comes full circle." My first year I taught fourth grade and now I am going back there. I am excited about this change, though all of my friends are third grade teachers at school. I love the social studies curriculum and the literature that I will be able to use. Third grade was actually a very hard grade to teach....the kids are caught between being babies and big kids and they are just starting to learn their responsibilty at school.

The only downside to this change.....we JUST moved everything in my room to a new room (on the third grade hall) LAST WEEK! Now, I have to move again......oh well!
