After the Rain

I really think that one of my favorite times is when it has just rained and the clouds still await their next instructions and the outside world is shaking off the raindrops and renewing itself. I believe that rain is truly a gift from God, not just for the earth, but for us as well. I always feel like a new person after a fresh rain shower. And, God's world look so beautiful and refreshed.
We have (thankfully we don't have to do the upkeep, we can just enjoy!) some beautiful flowers that have just popped up in the bed outside our patio. I am wanting to improve my photography skills, more creative and artistic, so after the short storm we just had, I took the camera out and took some flower pictures.
Photography is a little like writing in that your first shot isn't always the best and editing usually helps out a whole lot! After I came in, I played with the pictures in my editing software to enhance them. I would very much like to use my own photographs as the "decorations" for our apartment walls, but will need much practice before they will be ready! In the meantime, here are my rain-kissed flower pictures for you to enjoy.
