I love each season for different reasons and, I guess, I really don't have a favorite! I love fall for the cooler weather, crisp colors, football games, and the focus on harvest and thanksgiving.
Today, we started our fall by attending the Inman Harvest Festival for the first time since Clay was a baby. Ron and Clay typically don't get all excited about attending these kinds of events, but I was surprised to hear them both say what a good time they were having. We ran into several students, teachers and other friends from over the years (including Ron's high school girlfriend). One of my parents owns a really cute shop in downtown and today my friend Evangeline was running it for her so she and her husband could man their street vendor booths, so we spent a lot of time in there talking and I ended up buying this really cute sweater (you'll see it in pictures this winter I'm sure) with fur cuffs for less than $10!!! (The store is Sassy but Classy and she does really cute monogrammed necklaces, flip flops, pocket books, etc.....when you are in Inman go by there and check it out.) We also spent quite a bit of time at the firetrucks. This really nice fireman explained everything to Ben, even letting him try on some of his equipment. On a side note, the truck had come straight from a house fire to the festival so it was interesting to smell the smoke that was still lingering on the clothes and in the cab.

It was definitly a fun family event and the bonus was getting to eat at Bronco's....my favorite Mexican restaurant.
