Monday was my last night of classes at Tech. Clay had band practice and then I met all of them at Scouts since our unit is starting a Venturing (for 14-20 year old girls and guys) Crew and I am going to help out with this. Clay had his troop board of review for Eagle and has all of his paperwork signed off and ready to turn in next month.
Tuesday I had to give my exam to one class. It was bittersweet. I was glad for the break, but I will really miss my students! They were awesome this semester and gave me the sweetest card. Clay had his jr. high band concert and Ben had basketball. We worked it out for Ron to take Ben and my parents (THANKS, MOM AND DAD!) to take Clay to his concert. Luckily my students finished fairly quickly and I made it just in time for the concert.

Wednesday I gave my second exam. Clay was finally able to get back to wrestling practice . And, the boys all opted to stay home and rest!
Thursday, Clay had wrestling, Ben had wrestling and I had to attend our school's 4th grade Christmas program. It was beautiful and with over 200 4th grade students, we had to move it to a local church to accomodate people. The estimate was that there was about 850 attendees. The down side, I had a HORRIBLE sore throat and it got extrememly cold.

I left after the ceremony and headed to the doctor to confirm exactly what I had already predicted....I have strep throat. So, I've spent the rest of the day in bed and had to miss our Sunday School class party tonight. And, will have to miss Clay's first wrestling competition tomorrow. To make up for it, Clay tried on his singlet so that I could see what he'll look like tomorrow and take a picture.
In the meanwhile, the good daddy is helping Ben put together a race track that has been in our closet for YEARS! And, Maggie and I are wrapped up on the couch resting.

I also had to have my finger "re-frozen" today to try and remove a growth. That is very not fun. It hurts tremendously and it feels like your finger is going to fall off, not just the growth. I'm hoping it will be succesful this time, since the next time they will BURN it off....YIKES!!! On a good note, Dr. Dorna gave me "high-powered" antibiotics so that the strep won't interfere with my trip to Charleston on Sunday. YEAH!!
