Changing Loyalties

We are a confused state of people in this family.

That said, Ron spent several years at Clemson and I say that I became a Clemson fan "by marriage". But, Ron was essentially raised a UNC fan and he ended up graduating from USC! Even though people tend to think we're die-hard Clemson that isn't totally the truth and for a long time I've nagged that we should be Carolina fans. It just fits us better. (Despite the fact that one of my favorite colors is orange!)

Well, we're changing our loyalties. We figured that our trip to Columbia yesterday was as good a time as any to start. We picked up a USC tee shirt and jersey (Clay decided that he wants to remain a NAVY fan and didn't really want it) for me. Ben got a hat (which he hasn't taken off!), football, flag and coffee mug with his name on it....he really took to this being a gamecock fan thing!

It looks like we're going back next Saturday for the spring football game and Hootie and the Blowfish concert.
