I was supposed to have a second meeting with the Carolina School for Inquiry but the Director called on our way down that she was unable to arrange for the staff to meet with me on Friday morning. I still had to pick up my portfolio, though, so our first stop was at the school. I LOVE this place!!! We toured the school and I think she is interested in adding me to the staff. She is going to set up a time for me to meet the staff next week.
After visitng CSI, we headed over to our soon-to-be home and looked at the progress (or lack thereof as it appeared). And, then, on to Clay's new school. We were unable to tour the school, but we did get him registered and they still had openings for the TWO Academy -- a single gender magnet school within Dent Middle. We filled out his application and he'll be going for his interview this week. 
After Dent, we headed downtown for my next interview at Brockman Elementary, a public Montessori. I think it went pretty well...I'm just ready to know that I have a job. Afterwards we had lunch at Palmetto Pig, check in at the hotel, a stop at the Post Office and then to Five Points for a visit to my favorite shoe store (Good for the Sole...just in case you are in the Columbia area). After a little area driving around, we had dinner at a terrific restaurant....

After dinner, we took the boys swimming at the hotel pool and then, exhausted, we all headed off to bed!! We knew Saturday would be another busy day.
