One Week and Counting.....

Finally, one week (and a little less than 4 hours) from today, season 5 of "24" premieres. This is just absolutely the best show on TV and its time for Jack to return. I will say, though, that I cheat. I read a "spoiler" board to find out what is going to happen, so I have read a little about this season and can't wait. I guess its because I love to read, that I find the synopsis predictions so entertaining. Of course, it helps when you an aggravate your husband and "24" watching friends with "I know what's going to happen!" or "Oh, I can't wait for this next part!" I'm going to be better this year, though. I'm going to wean myself off of spoilers and try to enjoy the season like a normal viewer.

I hope this isn't a long week.........and if it is, here are some

Random Jack Bauer thoughts (I didn't come up with these....they are from a website) for you to ponder:

1. There are a few phrases that Jack Bauer can utter to you that mean death. They are "You have to trust me" and "You are the only one who can do this." While death isn't instant, it is inevitable.

2.Jack Bauer killed 93 people in just 4 days time.

3. Jack Bauer would have gotten the ring to Mordor in 24 hours.

4.Jack Bauer does not sleep. The only rest he needs is what he gets when he's knocked out or temporarily killed.

5.Jack Bauer doesn't stop at stop signs.

6.Jack Bauer has no problem following orders, unless you tell him to do something he doesn't want to.

7. Jack Bauer doesn't miss. If he didn't hit you it's because he was shooting at another terrorist twelve miles away.

8. Jack Bauer literally died for his country, and lived to tell about it.

9.Jack Bauer does not fire bullets. Instead, they fire themselves away from Jack in pure fear of him.

10. 6 billion Chinese are angry with Jack Bauer. Sounds like a fair fight.
