Today I signed up and did my initial weigh-in for the "Great Spartanburg Shrinkdown". I'm hoping that my competitive side will come out and I'll be motivated to lose some weight. After seeing what I weighed in at on their scale, that should be the biggest motivator of all! I'm also going to be doing a "biggest loser" type competition at Shapes (my gym) and the incentive there is pretty good.....its $$$!
As a whole this week's "shrinkdown" information is pretty good. I have to set at least three goals for the week. So, here goes:
1. Eat at least 5 servings of fruit and veggies each day.
2. Excercise for at least 30 mins. for at least 3 days. ( I didn't make it to the gym today since I was doing the weigh-in thing, but I did walk for 30 minutes on our treadmill.)
3. And set my intial weight loss goal...which I have done.....10%.
And, I've set my own personal goal to drink at least 8 glasses of water per day.
